1. Get them the toys they want. If your child has mobility issues, make sure they've got plenty of toys that they can manipulate with one hand or using their mouth/feet.
2. Set up a
safe space for them to move around freely without hurting themselves. If
you don't have access to an outside area, get them some colorful foam
mats for the inside that will make for a fun playtime and help prevent
injuries.
3. Make sure the car seat is properly
fitted for their needs—whether that means buying a new one or adding on
extra cushions so they're comfortable and safe when buckled in.
4.
Play their favorite music at home! Kids love this stuff, even if it
drives us crazy sometimes (okay, most of the time). It's also great
because it helps develop skills like listening abilities and social
interactions like dancing together as a family!
5. Get them involved in sports.
